Re Pikapak cereal packets. I opened all the boxes (had bought 3 packs of them) and left the cereal in the individual packets and put these into a large tupperware container. I tell my family to pick a packet out unseen and its pot luck which one they get. I then had to spend half an hour cutting the coupons out so I can use some this week. this means the cereal is free and you get a bit of money back too. great find.

    Hello couponers !

I'm a newbie on here but have been couponing (is that a word ?) at Mr T's for a few years now.
Just wanted to introduce myself and to say thanks for the valuable coupon finds and entertaining me with the witty (and sometimes not so witty) banter !
I now take the MSE coupon pledge "To promise to find and post links to as many printable coupons as I can. To use my coupons at Mr T's in accordance with the rules and regulations (and to reprimand those who don't). To thank my fellow coupon finders accordingly. To join in with the banter, where necessary."
    Am I now enrolled ?
Sounds great - you are in! :rotfl:
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Aww, if you'd said "i carried a watermelon" it would have been Dirty Dancing all over again :D

No coupon news here. Just keeping up to date :o

I do agree with you totally however we popped in to Asda tonight and got loads of things reduced. I think we spent about £8 in hard cash in total but came out with a trolley full of stuff and I had to carry a bag of melons lol!!!! We were paying 5p for salad stuff, 10p for melons, 2p for cheesy baguettes and much much more lol!!!! It is a shame Asda don't take vouchers anymore unless you buy the products lol!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
    :)
  • I know the dog 30 day PURINA ONE challenge has finished, but I signed up for the cat one last night (again)?? You get .75p at the start, then 2 weeks later you get £1, then after another 2 weeks, you get 4.99!! (although there is a trick to get then the same day you get the 75p coupon, instead of waiting 2 weeks, and 4 weeks :D

Keep trying to do the cat one, definately worth it :D

I think this is the link to the CAT ONE MONTH CHALLENGE http://www.purinaone.co.uk/uk/cat/30day/default.asp and if anyone wants the trick on how to get the £1 and £4.99 coupon once you get the 75p one, just PM me :)
  • I hope so Jeferey. I know my store was 5 coupons only in the past and then went to unlimited, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

And then it can change back again - my local store went to 3 only and is now back to whatever they feel like, took 7 last night, I paid £1.40 and then got a till split for £3 of a £20 shop. Are they trying to get me to do bigger shops :rotfl:. I alternate between clubcards as well so it may look like I am not shopping there as many times.

Ooops, yes, I did understand what you meant, but my reply should have said "fuzzy on screen". :rotfl:

Had another try and it looks slightly better, so will take this one to T's on my next trip and keep fingers and toes crossed. :)

If it looks better on your screen then why not take that to T's get them to scan it and then actually hand over the moc that won't scan!:D (It's good to be helfull ;))

  • Hi, I'm venturing out into the 'big city' this week, armed with a supply of coupons, for which I thank you all very much. Anyone know what Sainsbury's policy is these days? The 1st page only mentions Tesco and Asda.

Beware Everyone, up until yesterday I had a really coupon friendly store. Now they have decided to change to one internet coupon only. I am devasted! I always stick to the rules and I know some other couponers who go to my store that also stick to the rules (Coupon-Mad and Lovely Lisa). However I am guessing that we had some people that didn't and now its all changed.

Just a little reminder to everyone that it can change really quickly, so try and stick to Tesco's rules.

    :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

I had something similar this morning although it may have just been that there were only old trouts on (Sorry OT but there must have been 20 checkouts and their combined age would have been about that of Noah!)

Anyway had £36 worth of specials and £25 worth of moc's so thought perhaps my saying of 'When in doubt avoid the old trout' may have been a bit harsh but how wrong (OR right in this case I am)...

She was a smiley old duck and scanned all me shopping then her face changed when she saw all the coupons! Oh we can't take those, Really I said, Oh no only if you have bought the product, Really? I said well I've been shopping here for the last six month's and it's never been a problem. Well I've worked here 3 years she said and we only take coupons to 10% of the shop and only 1 coupon if you haven't bought the product. Yes one per manufacturer I said, No one in total she said. OK says I can I have a supervisor then, he comes over and says yes the customer is correct (Through gritted teeth) but we are clarifying with head office on the policy... One OT left looking like she was sucking a bag of lemons, me put wallet in back pocket and did an ASDA price on her!! :rotfl:

But she may have the last laugh:eek:
