Thanks to someone on MSE some time ago, I applied and received a batch of student 55p coupons off The Times Newspaper. I have almost used them up now and vaguely remember reading at the time that I could apply for more but unfortunately I have no idea where to go. I have had a look on the Times website but could see no obvious link, nor can I find the original post on here. Can anyone help please?

I've tried the site which takes you to the same place it took me and you get to enter your details but when the page comes up that have the coupon on it there isn't any coupon there. I'd say it's done for now but this is the 2nd time we have had this coupon so maybe it will be back in 2 or 3 months.:rolleyes:Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -
Has anyone else had trouble with the £2 off Fairy voucher. First one I used a few weeks back, fine. Have tried twice this week and each time bleeped and SA said would not go through and gave me back.
I have a few I'd like to use up and so hope theres not a prob with them.
Thanks0 -

Sorry the £2 fairy moc only works against the actual product now, supervisor gets prompted to ask if you bought the product. I have about 10 myself i doubt i'll use as my tesco only had fairy in stock about a week after everyone else.
Think we warned this might happen and since it was a tesco branded coupon we should have bought the product anyway, but it was good whilst it lasted

I assume you mean the Fairy Dishwashing tablets? I also had this problem, was told by my usual SA that you have to buy the product(despite having used previously without any trouble) it would now appear that T's may have had a hiccup with their tills, but seems to be sorted now(hence it can now only redeemed against that product)insanity is the best policy:EasterBun0

Taking on martins advice on the plenty coupons, I decided i would stock up......just got back from tesco's and guess what? None of the 50p coupons would scan even though I had bought 10 packs worth. Took them straight back to customer services and asked why. This woman (with a real attitude) said "you've not spent the minimum amount" duh...i questioned her where did it say that on the coupon and she simply replied well it does'nt scan on my till. Looks like she was just making it up as she went along (as most of them in there do). Instead of getting into an argument with her (because a) i had a headache coming on b)she really is nasty - she thinks she owns tesco's) I just asked for a refund and she handed me over £9.90 in coins, 10p and 5p's. Why cant people just be nice, smile and stop being sooooooo miserable. I mean most of the cust. serv. assistants are really lovely......felt like putting in a complaint about her!!! and no, it's not a one off - she is always like this!!!
Anyway, now i've got that off my chest, to get bk2the point....shud i ring head office and see what they say bout the coupons not going through? need advice you guys........may try another tesco's and try couponing with 1 packet of plenty.........also the £2 fairy moc did not work either.
On the plus side I paid £5.44 on a £15.69 shop so i guess its not been that bad....
also, got my £3 back on mcCains Homefries chips i'd bought over the weekend. There was a yellow sticker saying 2 for £3, but when I got home they charged me full price (2.52 each). Rang them up and after much investigation said that was for the aunt bessies chips. I was like but there was a yellow sticker outside homefries...so out of a gesture of goodwill they said they would give me £3 back - what a palava that was as well. had to ring them up before I went in, this whole thing was not logged on, cs had to confirm with the manager, the person i'd spoke to was not in.......this is the 2nd time they misplaced labels. had an incident 2 weeks ago...so please everyone read the yellow labels that have items on offer. Last time it was out of date... I think it was a marketing ploy....but it could have easily been a genuine mistake!0
