Ok, if i were to write to my local Tesco asking their store policy, who's name would i put on it, the store managers??
    Many thanks..

Second rule of couponing*: NEVER ASK WHAT A TESCO STORE'S COUPON POLICY IS!

If you were to write to your local Tesco to 'ask their store policy' you'd be making a huge mistake. Read my answers to you on the previous page.

I'd say you have one chance to get the right answer from the busy SM - he/she is not going to enter into protracted correspondence with one customer about something as petty (to him) as coupons. You need to ask the right question to get the right answer (hopefully).

As veggiecar says, get the SM's name from behind the CS desk. There are usually mugshots of the top staff in each store, but if not then ask for it, making sure it's the Store Manager you get (not the CS Manager or anyone else).

    * following on from the first rule posted a few pages back...
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Newspaper coupons rejected at T.

I taught my youngest daughter well, we went shopping today, just to get bits & bobs. My daughter have 2 coupons from different newspaper company. She & my son when to pay for their stuff whilst I was still doing my shopping.

They went looking for me & told me that the checkout lady said that they got to buy the actual products to use the coupons. I told them to show me who it was, it turned out to be somebody from the upstair office who doesnt seemed to know what she is talking about! She is in her mid 30s. My smart daughter told her - " Oh in that case, I dont want to buy anything" & they walk away - smart girl!! :rotfl:

I went to pay for my items - no problems at all using the same coupons. When back to the car, told both my children which counter to pay for their items. And they came back with no problems. Also told my children in future go to young lad or girl & dont go to old trout (in their eyes anybody who are in their 30s are old trout) unless they know the casher who always serves them.

PS :- To the newbie users - most of the ppl here are helpful, but sometime you ppl are taking for granted that you will find the answer straight away after posting - not even mentioning the common courtesy like "Thank you in advance". What I dont understand is why cant you newbie read from page 1 onward? We all did, started from page 1 & read right thru to last page. Some of the questions are repeated over & over again. IF only you newbie read from page 1 onwards.
It would also be nice to see a few newbies thanking VC for a brand new coupon post....BTW...what a lot of newbies we have had of late ;)...word must have spread...do you think they will Finish posting soon ??

I had the £2 Finish coupon refused in my T's today. SA checked with a supervisor who said I had to buy the product to use the coupon.

Afterwards, I wondered if they had confused it with the collar that was on the Fairy liquid a few weeks ago, which was a Tesco coupon.

Has anyone else had a prob..

No probs for me so far...got enough for getting on for 2 years supply now...how good is that?...the kind informative peeps on here told me it finished in Sainsburys today and will finish in Asda on the 14th...might just manage 1 more visit , if they have any left...reckon most of it is in our store cupboards now, squeezing in alongside the Plenty/Fairy/Pikapaks ...;)
Can't put stuff in the garage need the space for all the balls...bully did not pay attention to the T&C's of the Mars comp..thinking there might be tennis balls up for grabs , kept entering and winning...4 rugby balls, 4 footballs and 4 cricket balls so far...guess what...when asked favourite sport , checked 'tennis' and varied it between Tim/Andy/Fred...but still did not win a tennis ball...now I know why...you can only win rugby/football/cricket balls...am I thick or what ???

I am sure it is Monday 12th & not 14th @ asda. Maybe somebody can confirm it.

I dont have dishwasher, my children are my dishwasher. I cooked they clean up:rotfl:learn from young.

I have lots of finish dishwasher tablets worth around £80 most probably I'll be giving 90% of it to my boss - since I have been using company printers to print coupons.:rotfl:
