    Hi Everyone!

Had a good day today with finish got 8 packs, one Sainsbury's took the full £2 off the other did them for £1.80.

Asda not a good day with the boxes of Huggies, they are getting hard to find now, managed to find 2 today, but the guy on the till wouldn't accept the huggies voucher as said is had to be off a pack not a box! arrgh! still got them. Have 12 boxes now. Thanks all for getting me through my maternity leave on a tight budget.

My next hurdle is going to Tesco for the first time and using my coupons and not buying the product I am nervous about this but going to try it over the weekend. Fingers crossed Nic xx

Had a good and bad shop today in Mr T's. Spotted my 1st ever leaflet in store with a moc on it :j well excited - Warburtons national bread week leaflet that has 2 30p mocs on it valid until 6th June but Tescos only - they were just folded over the ends of the Warburtons bread trays - so might be worth checking your stores. Next round to the cereals isle to pick up some more of the pic a pacs (thanks again to whoever posted about this) my boys are so happy that they aren't getting boring cheap cereals at the moment.
Then onto the cleaning isle - I remembered reading something about the fairy washing up liquid on here but couldn't remember what - anyway I spys bottles at £1 each with a moc for £2 off fairy diswasher tabs - woo hoo I think I'm on a roll here - so snaps up 4 bottles.
Gets to the checkout - the SA tells me she can't take the fairy £2 moc cos I haven't bought the product (it's a Tesco specific one) damn I had forgot about that in all my excitement, but she did take the Warburtons 30p one that is also Tesco specific  and she wouldn't take any others that wouldn't go through the main scanner - bummer cos that meant she wouldn't take my £2 finish or 90p Grazia amongst a few others. So overall a good day, but in my excitement at finding the £2 fairy mocs I forgot that they are Tesco specific and you have to purchase the product - but never mind - we are always running out of washing up liquid anyway so at least I have got a good supply now and will keep an eye out for the fairy dishwasher tabs being on special to use my moc with.

Just noticed the Warburtons mocs have 2 dates on them - 1 is valid from 6.5.09 to 6.6.09 and the other is valid from 7.6.09 to 7.7.09 - even better

Thank you so much for that! I have just been in Asda and raided the special offer isle were all the huggies were stacked up! My other half and I rummaged through all the boxes but unfortunately they were all the 04/2012 batch, all 350 boxes of them!:D We got some very strange looks off the customers and some staff especially when my o/h climbed out of the the bottom shelf and banged his head! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Why do we find it so amusing when someone hurts themselves!!:D

My o/h is not speaking to me now! whoops!:D

6 weeks to go to our wedding in Cyprus and thanks to all you wonderful people we have now saved an extra £650:T:T:T:j:j:j

Am sure this has already been mentioned but did a quick search and couldn't find it. Anyway, went into Asda today and at cs desk they had shopping voucher competition which had 40p comfort concentrate coupon on it - doesn't appear to be store specific so grabbed a pile - sorry is repeating someone elses post

thanks for this trelawney75, picked up a handfull of these today (still load left) in Asda, great spot...

also a box of huggies and a couple packs of quantum finish, so good days shopping...not a big fan of Mr A but if he wants to continue giving me stuff I may change my mind!;)

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Went to Sainsbury's for the first time in ages and guess what I bought? - You got it - 10 lots of Finish. I picked up some batteries as well in case they took the full £2 off which the SA did but there was a VAT reduction of 5p so it didn't take the last one as I only owed £1.96 for the last Finish. So I said to the SA, "How about if I BUY something". She said "That will probably make it easier!". So I got a pack of skittles and paid 36 pence. Excellent - thanks everyone. :DF:DI:DN:DI:DS:DH:D
Then I went to Tesco and bought some stuff, handed over 4 coupons for things I'd actually bought and the SA says "Hang on, I can only take 5 internet's even if you've bought the product" I still had £3 Airwick, £4.99 Purina and £1.93 Whiskas to go  so I asked her to take the 20p one she had just put through off and take the Airwick instead  so only £5.50 in total - worst for ages
Note to self: Forget what you have bought and just hand over the biggest ones first ;) and then if I get a nice SA, she/he will take the rest anyway.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Re.the new clubcard deals. I have been told that if you return the item bought with doubled points, you will be given a giftcard instead of cash. Which can be used of course to finish paying for the shopping.
