Hey there Everyone!
I work in the Tesco in Wisbech and just thought I'd let you know that we are no longer taking the Air Wick vouchers.
We have a few customers that have ruined it for the rest of us. They come in with literally hundreds of vouchers each time and this has caused our store manager to start cracking down on internet vouchers, which really sucks!!0 -

"literally hundreds of coupons" means literally hundreds of extra handling charges, which means £s more bottom line profit.
My local would much prefer to receive the extra profit than pay American Express for my custom.
By taking lots of coupons, they also get a lot more trade from me.
They dropped it down to 10% briefly, then presumably realised that nobody with coupons bothered shopping there anymore, because they then decided to train the staff insteadso they now only take coupons they can redeem.:T
The staff also come on here frequently, so hello:beer:It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

Well any ideas where is can store 24 packs of newborn nappies? I went to Adsa today armed with 1 X £2 off Huggies newborn coupon from a sample in the post, and a bag of £1 coins. Found the right packs with the 03 exp on (which is helpfully on a silver sticker) took 12 to the self scan explained to the SS supervisor what I was going to do, bought the first one with the moc I came with then opened the box took out the coupon bought the next.... well I'm sure you get the idea, till I had bought the 12 took them to the car. Then decided I would regret it if I didn't get more so got another 12 this time as I put through each transaction the supervisor opened the box and got the coupon out.
So for a £24 outlay I have £211.40 (some of the sample packs with the £2 & £1 leaflets had more than 1 leaflet:j) in MOC's 24 packs of nappies and 24 small packs of wipes.OH said I'd gone too far this time when he saw the boot and backseat:eek:. Also got 10 packs of Finish, £2 at Asda so free, and 4 dishwasher cleaners £2.50 so paid 50p for each.
[QUOTE=Lo
vely Lisa;21332627]Great idea! Your post inspired me to do the same. I managed to get 7 (after ALOT of searching through the shelves for 03/12 ones).
I dropped my nappies off at the local New Babies Clinic - the mid-wife was thrilled! :T[/QUOTE]
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Princess Coupon and everyone else who has contributed to the Huggies "coupon hunt". I have just been to Asda and managed to find 8 boxes with the 03 date (having gone through every one on the shelf), took them to the checkout and showed the SA the £2 coupon I already had and asked if I could open each box and take out the coupon inside. She said yes so I stood just to the side of her till and proceeded to remove the relevant coupons whilst letting other people through the till. Once completed I handed over all my coupons in one transaction. What a bonus, £8 spent in total with much more in coupons inside.
By the way, my Asda is still selling the Huggies at £3.00 per box.
Does anyone know if other supermarkets will have these special promotional boxes? I think I must have exhausted all the ones in Asda!
Many many thanks once again to all OPs who contributed.:T:T:T0 -

So if the huggies are scanning at £4.98, would it be worth it still or would you not go to the trouble??
Just tried the two localish Asdas and they only have 04/12 in stock.....good job I had a pile of finish vouchers, otherwise ir would have been a wasted outing.
Handy tip for the day, the Tesco brown, hessian recycle bags, perfectly hold 24 finish boxes, 6 along the bottom and 4 rows;).
Reminder for those that are wondering why....
the coupon is £2 off
the tablets are £2 in Asda and £1.85 in Sainsburys
(I'm glad I used the colour printer for these ones!)It's nice to be nice .....
