Quentin, after your last group of postings, in my last post I sided with you, and tried to put across a fair and reasonable position for why there tended to be discord after your posts.
I have problems siding with you on your reply to CouponMad earlier though!
Are you trying to upset the applecart again, or am I just reading it wrongly?....I realise that it is difficult for me to understand sarcasm/humour or other intonations on a written forum...which is why I now try to use emoticons, or add notes at the end of the post, if the literal meaning isn't what I wanted to convey.
Extra note at the bottom for clarification:....this post is not intended to start any kind of a "flaming contest"
VC...just a heads up...Quentin hasn't thanked Lori's first post...
Hope my 'playmates' all play nicely and do some serious moc dancing whilst I adjourn to Tesco for my newspapers...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You seem to just want posts from your mates, and the rest of us are an intrusion into your playground.
Why not set up your own private board?
Till then why not allow MSE members to post without risking the bullying from you and your playmates?
(Can't argue about the quality of the Mail - the Sun - now your talking. See their report and video on Lilly Allen's third nipple for example: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/article2139374.ece )
God, here we go again ! Why are people so perishing obnoxious just because somebody VERY POLITELY points out a coupon restriction! CM's note could save people buying papers unnecessarily and/or embarrassment at the till.
I say again, there's a lot to be said for keeping your mouth shut if you can't say anything nice.ELITE 5:2

I have clicked on your link, and see that if anyone is trying to cause trouble it is you.
Answer why you found it necessary to post this about me (when the discussion you were contributing to was nothing to do with Tesco's policy, but was in fact about the rights/wrongs of buying coupons on the net):He believes (and Birmingham Dave will be along to back him up in a second:p) that anyone is justified in "ripping Tesco off" (my words, not his!;)) with any old coupon as long as it scans, whether Tesco can get their money back or not....
All this just goes to confirm the playground gang mentality that seems to thrive in this thread.0 -
oh my god, im still up to page 47, i went to sleep last night!!. noooooooooooooooooooooooooo0

Ok firstly, I was attempting to point out the history of WHY people were disagreeing with your (I thought at the time, valid) pointfor anyone who is newish to this thread, they may not be aware of a fair amount of disagreement Quentin normally has with a number of the rest of us, and has been well documented for anyone who wants to go back to the previous threads for the details....( Q...I am not trying to twist anything....if there is anything in the above that you think I have misquoted or got inaccurate, please PM me, and I'll amend it...I'm trying to keep this amicable and put BOTH points across fairly:A)
before pointing out, as you have above, to keep it to the discussion point at the time....to which I then saidI have to say that I agree with Quentin:eek:, in principal, about the selling of coupons on ebay! All this just goes to confirm the playground gang mentality that seems to thrive in this thread.
but as I said only a few posts agoAre you trying to upset the applecart again, or am I just reading it wrongly?....I realise that it is difficult for me to understand sarcasm/humour or other intonations on a written forum...which is why I now try to use emoticons, or add notes at the end of the post, if the literal meaning isn't what I wanted to convey.

extra note at the bottom..... once again this is not meant to sound inflammatory at all, and if anyone believes any part of it is, please PM me and I shall take appropriate action:beer:
Edit: Q, this was posted a couple of hours ago... and I haven't had a PM or a comment back about it...even although you have posted several times on this thread in the meantime, so I presume you are now happy with the response and the original message, and I can sleep soundly tonight:beer:. Happy couponning;)It's nice to be nice .....
