I used a new cashier but she did a great job, even inputted 2 numbers for me too, so i think it's a coupon problem as opposed to fussy till lady problem! Typical as i just received 2 new sets in the mail!

I used one in a Tesco Extra and one in my local Express this afternoon and had no problem with them scanning. When you have a coupon that doesn't scan you should ask the cashier to total the till and try to scan the coupon again. I have found that this is 9 times out of 10 the problem and even more so after a coupon has been manually inputted.

finally got to use a £2 finish moc today...no inputing code or using hand held, just went thru no probs as did the 55p times moc...

any one know of any good Moc accepting Tesco's in Yarmouth? PM if anyone can help! TIA

As it states on the cow and gate website (here) ... that if you want a coupon for a FREE bottle of cow and gate milk (worth 0.48p) - says at the right of the page - AND a £1 off coupon - says further down the page - then to ring this number 08457 623 623

1) carefully cut out all the barcodes from your discount coupons
2) arm yourself with a roll of sellotape or preferably quick drying glue
3) stick your barcode over the barcode of 2 out of 3 of the products you want to buy...that way you get money off instead of having to pay for the item.
4) make sure you do a song and dance routine while the SA is scanning...that way they may be so bemused at what you are doing they might not notice
5) pack all the items in the car

I do this 15 times every morning before breakfast, because the area manager phoned me up and said it was ok to do it, as long as the store wasn't busy.:p:rotfl:

I bet many peoples printers print perfectly fine until it comes to printing coupons - and then suddenly wouldn't you know a paper jam occurs half way through printing a coupon lol!

Went to Tesco this afternoon and the SA would not take any of my printed internet coupons (including a couponnet one which had been sent to me in the post). She would however take the pre-printed ones issued by the manufacturers including the Hello Magazine one from todays Mail.
