6630 chargers??

Hi

I today discovered this old phone but cannot find the charger for it.
Here is my question...I have tried 2 other Nokia chargers in the phone but it refuses to charge,does anybody know if I need an original charger or is it the battery that has gone kaput (it has been about 18 months since I last charged it)??

Could be loose connection in the charger or phone or battery could have died.
It could be anything really.
If you have a USB cable for it, plug that it into your pc and see if it charges - that would rule out the battery fault.
There are cheap chargers available and no doubt batteries on ebay if you search for "6630 charger" - beware though some of the cheap chargers or useless in the extreme (i.e. stop working, made in china somewhere without proper regulations from my experience).

If the chargers work on another phone, it's prob a dead battery. Batteries do degrade over time, especially when they are left with power in them for long periods.

IMO, no major difference between genuine and non-genuine chargers. They either work or they don't. Genuine ones have a better build quality. With batteries, I'd only go genuine.

the charger for the nokia 6230 and 6230i and several other nokia phones works fine i have just tested one so if thats the type of charger you are useing then it should work.
