I think i may well go to the bad burny place for that.
Sorry to be cynical - but did he find that out before or after he sent you all the excuses? He's obviously online again, so he should complete the purchase now.I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -
Got it all in the same message - basically, "sorry, dad has cancer, paid you, cheers"

it's a really horrible thing to lie about, i would never ever do it, but there you go.The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.

I've had a few buyers like that who had not paid when they said they would and then receive emails saying so and so is 'sick' of course it's a natural reaction for the seller to feel bad and I did, but sometimes I do wonder how genuine these claims are. I shouldn't be so cynical at my age but after trading on eBay for a few years it can't be helped.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

i agree, it is hard not to be cynical, just human nature i guess. Still, the guy paid, and tomorrow he should have his phone. Just sent him a wee message saying take care. Surely can't hurt. The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.

If he's paid it sounds like a genuine case. It happens. Thought your email was perfectly reasonable and not at all nasty or personal so I wouldn't worry about having sent it!0
