Strange call/Text- anyone heard of CSL???

Have had loads of withheld numbers & a text message asking me to contact CSL on 0208 773 7117, quoting a reference number.

Has anyone heard of these or know who they are? Are they a collection agency??

Thanks- am worried as to who they are?

there are a few CSL's but nothing to indicate debt collection

I recall the name, not too positive BUT I'm pretty sure that they are a debt company...sorry.....

you could always ring the number and not give any info and see what they say when they pick up the phone, ie: "Hello this is CSL Debt Collection Agency, how can I help you?'

That's definitely a debt recovery no. (boyf had calls from it last month :rolleyes: ) they were chasing him for alliance & leicester credit card..can't remember the name of the company though

yes they are a debt company. Credit Solutions Ltd.

They deal with MBNA. it means that you are behind on a Credit card payment or another bill.....

I have a DMP being arranged through Payplan as we speak so that would make sense. Thanks guys.

yes definatly a debt collection company had dealings with them it seems to go from them to another company very quickly so no worries

They contacted me re an overdue MBNA Credit Card too. I seem to recall that I could barely understand the accent some of their representatives.

I quickly told MBNA that I'm having trouble keeping up repayments and could they kindly get CSL to lay off and, suprise, suprise never heard a thing more from them.

Credit Solutions Ltd. are a rather nasty pack of debt collectors who can be quite abusive on the telephone. Be wiser to write, rather than telephone and give them your number. Write to them, quoting whatever reference number they gave, at the address below:
