Am confused about the car thing - do you have a car or not? If you do, then you need to put the cost of running it into your SOA, as this will make a difference. If you have use of a car - registered to someone else for example - then again, you need to put the costs of running it in your SOA.

    Thanks,

Road tax was left over, was debating coming clean about running a car but have decided simpler to leave it out.

Had cut back school dinners as another poster had said not allowed, son has school meals @8.25 a week plus swimming lessons at about 3 quid a week, do you think I could include both? Yes, Fiveyearplan was just saying you could add activities as well.

Will def up groceries, looking at the guidelines it appear to be within acceptable boundaries.

Was thinking along the same lines for the other items give them some opportunities to make some cuts.

Am hoping for some leniency on some of the other items on the basis they've knocked back my mortgage allowance from 1100 to 700

Well as I always say if you don't ask, you don't get :) So go for the higher figures and if you get them then that's great and if you don't, then there is nothing lost.

Pop up the final SOA when you have done it and it can be given a final check over. Isn't there a timescale for getting the forms back?

Now you've got me worried

Was away last week and the form came probably last Tuesday, so I think I'm ok

I was allowed £40 for medical
But your wife and child would get meds free
I also don't understand why you have Left your car off list
    as it is an expense

I can't remember my reasoning, re: the car. I need it for work there is no getting away from that so should be able to claim it.

Have to pay for prescriptions for my wife, but as you say child is free, we're both asthmatic and wear glasses so need to account for a pre-payment cert each + eye tests, glasses etc. Also don't have NHS dentist so may have to put something away for dental care.

Am going to overhaul my SOA and get it posted up

Thanks for all the pointers so far:T

Just a quick question is the SOA after bankruptcy or do you need to include all out should be paying out before BR ( eg all CC's and secured unsecured loans etc)?

It's outgoings after bankruptcy, once everything has been written off
