I though £400 was pushing it...0 -
The "normal" allowance is £180-£190 per adult so that would be £380 max for 2 adults......so an extra £70 for a child is not excessive. Thanks,
Road tax was left over, was debating coming clean about running a car but have decided simpler to leave it out.
Had cut back school dinners as another poster had said not allowed, son has school meals @8.25 a week plus swimming lessons at about 3 quid a week, do you think I could include both?
Will def up groceries, looking at the guidelines it appear to be within acceptable boundaries.
Was thinking along the same lines for the other items give them some opportunities to make some cuts.
Am hoping for some leniency on some of the other items on the basis they've knocked back my mortgage allowance from 1100 to 7000 -
Sons only 5 so tricky to justify I guess.
Could probably justify a need for work, am a systems manager for a retailer and do need to check in out of hours etc.
Car tax was a mistake, decided to leave the car out of things for now and rely on public transportMerry_Gentry wrote: »Do your children require the internet for homework purposes? You have car tax down but no other car costs?

i think the actual allowance for food for 2 adults is £398 per month, try for a little more maybe, do any of you have any dietry requirements/allergies, e.g. require gluten free foods etc0

Would probably need medical evidence to back that up...
Also it's 2 adults and 1 child0
