forgot to say earlier - remember months ago when I was asked to teach cake decorating but I said no as I didn't have the experience (ie, don't know the first thing!)?, well we are putting on a 4 week introduction course starting next Monday and I've enrolled because there aren't enough learners on my cookery course this term so I thought I might as well do something myself. I get the concessionary fee of £17 as I get WTC and I've put in a form to have this paid as staff development so I can be a stand in tutor in the future. I'll find out tomorrow if Ihave to pay or whether they will pay. For the sake of £17 I reckon they will say it's fine. There is also a 5 week follow on course in June but I'll see how I get on with the introduction one first - I'm not patient and I'm not particularly graceful with anything craft related - I'm very much for the 'rustic, modernist' look - ie chuck it together!!
