It hurt loads BB, but the money will do far more for us than a pile of metal wont it
100% yes, it will do far more. I sold a vase once which was a gift, I never really liked it but I still felt sad selling it as it was given with love and I made £120 by selling it (which I really needed at the time). I still feel guilty about it when I think about it a few years on, but to be honest it would have not have been displayed etc and would have been up the loft.

Thanks hun.
I wont miss the rings and stuff, because they've just sat in a jewellery box for the past 13 years. I was upset wondering what my mum would think of me for selling her things. She would be upset if she thought you were hanging on to them just because of sentimentality but were suffering financially for the sake of some metal. A bit of metal stuck in a box can't help anyone and remember that even though you've sold the stuff, the memories of the happy times with your Mum can never be taken away from you and the memories are the important things. By her giving you these items and you now selling them, means that you are helping your family and I'm sure that is what she would have wanted.

Who's had the baby?
How is everyone?

awww bless charlie!
my dogs are in the dog house, or at least the old (supposedly sensible, well behaved one!) is... took them to park yesterday but it was heaving busy, Moss decided to run away several times, was pee'd off til we realised he kept going to tennis courts to see if he could get lucky and land himself a ball! It was like he was at wimbledon, his head moving left to right following the ball!! thank god court was fenced off and gated or he'd have been in there! and last night i let them out for late pee and he sloped off, came back 20mins later.. with a rabbit! thankfully the rabbit made a getaway when he dropped it at the back door....
He's supposed to be the sensible one! i think he's having a midlife crisis, like his dad!
((hugs)) for spudly....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Tig - Mrs Lenny
Maz - blimey - I think Moss is having a mid life crisis!! Charlie started being up every dog's bum (I know, TMI) about a month ago and following more dogs on their walks than just his normal best mates but he seems to have calmed down again."Stay Wonky":D
