    Hello!

I am off from work as nursery is closed this week. This morning at half six left my bed downstairs to move to DD's bed upstairs to get some sleep. When I finally got up DD was (and still is) fast asleep. I am so glad as she has been a little terror last couple of days. I almost put a sale ad on eBay yesterday. Hopefully we are chummies now as both have had a good sleep.

Dawn, what is the worst thing that could happen if you didn't apply for this job?

    Now to my list:

    - Scratchies
    - Curly
    - Cashback bingo
    - NSD (except bought passes to Longleat for both of us just after midnight - does it count?)
    - Post sold book
    - Continue hokey cokey
    - Online banking
    - Spreadsheets
    - Call bailiffs and tell them that I won't pay a penny until council confirms how much is owed
    - Get finally income info from ex for TY 07-08 and sort out old overpayment
    - Continue sorting books

Hi All, here are my small things for today:

    * Checked internet bank (still pretty much empty, but not in the negative)
    * Went home for lunch instead of buying something
    * Searched for car insurance as mine expires on 28th April
    * Have 2 phones to send to Mazuma Mobile, will do today
    * Also updated my spending spreadsheet with spends over the weekend

Feeling rubbish today about my money situation, but I guess we all have off days!

  • I have:
-Used my debt spreadsheet to work out that I can pay back my debts by August if I don't spend anything apart from household outgoings, car insurance and mobile bill until then. However, i then realised that I havent factored in petrol. So have to come up with at least another £20 a week from somewhere!
-Did my best with daily clicking and cashbacking - more to come tonight though, as work blocks certain sites
-Bought a game from a charity shop to sell on amazon (unethical?!), but then discovered music magpie, so waiting to get home so I can dig out more garbage to sell.

I also plan to have a good old clearout of some of our stuff tonight so that I can eventually hold a boot fair and I will catch up with all the online surveys clogging up my inbox!
Wins 2012: £50 Love2Shop voucher, Lets Dance tickets, Juan Zelades CD, bluetooth speaker, Blackberry 9360 with £30 credit a month, Chocolate, Maybelline Goodie Bag, Hunter wellies!

  • Hi All :hello::D

Haven't been on for a while as have been moving :D:j. All went well. OH said it was the easiest move he has ever had because of the van we hired that my Dad drove and because normally he has had flats upstairs whereas ours is ground floor. Still lots to do and sort out but getting there.

Haven't got internet connection at home yet so will have to use the work computer for now. Need to get back on track with the money making/saving now.

Will write a list for the last few days that I have been doing things:

    Free scratches today - 2 x 10p
Get petrol and drive carefully to consume petrol
Topped up the gas and electric meters and going to see how it goes this month and next month
Written down all my outgoings so i can keep track of how much we are spending on things at our new home :D
Got lots of good deals on groceries and toiletries and spent less than we thought
    Free mags from work
    Checked for mystery shops
    Checked emails
Went to the Ideal Home show on Sat before going to see Russell Brand, trains were a nightmare so wern't there long but got a retro pot for £1.50 which we will put shopping money in, a recipie book stand and a notebook with cakes on the front so I can start planning my cake decorating career.
    Looked for new jobs.
Ring restaurant to see if they have any shifts now I have moved.

Hope you all had a good easter :EasterBun:easter_ba and are having a good day.

  • Hi everyone

Today is a NSD, 14 so far, not doing as well as I'd hoped but got an opportunity I couldn't pass up and went to the BBC film studios on Sunday to watch John Barrowman filming his new show, I was on the end of the 3rd row from the front where he spent alot of the time standing during the evening so was very happy. He's such a funny man and so bubbly! Everytime I meet him I'm surprised at his energy and how much fun he is! Had a fantastic, fantastic, fantastic night!

Now I've got that out of my system lol

    Today I have:

*made dinner from the storecupboard, including
chicken curry and tomato lamb stew.
    *Checked my online banking
    *Updated my budgets
    *Updated my spendingdiary
*Hoovered the entire flat (ok it's only small lol)
*Scrubbed the bathroom and hallway down from top to bottom
    *Cleaned the kitchen
    *Defrosted the freezer
*And now I'm off to relax for the rest of the day lol

Hope you all had a fabulous easter, I did thanx to JB x

    Cheers

  • Ooh Casper, you're so lucky! My friend met him a few months back and said he was fantastic - a good bank holiday weekend for you then :)

I was really sick and poorly last night and didn't sleep at all last night, not a wink - so I'm at home feeling sorry for myself and eating jacobs crackers.... Feel awful missing a days work, and I don't get paid for sick leave as I've only been with the company for 6 months :( so not a good dfw day for me in terms of lost pay...

    I have though:

    - got my sister to post Sunday's eBay items
    - listed more eBay things
    - Aim for a nsd - I can't leave the house and can only eat crackers so should be easy ;)
    - checked online banking and moved paypal to current account
    - tidied and pottered in the house as best I can
    - given the dog lots of cuddles :)
    - done my packing as I go on holiday tomorrow (it's a dfw holiday though - cottage given to us for free by OH's parents!! )

Hope everyone's day back at work isn't too painful xxxx
    June NSD's - 5/25 :(

Tx for that crumpetmonster, he is definately amazing, I'm sorry you're not feeling well and not sleeping, but hopefully the crackers will make you feel much better lol, just gotta get better so don't worry about losing pay just think of it as taking time to recover so you don't have to take even more time off sick and lose even more pay.

    Get well soon x
