nova, still recommend advice from solicitor and accountant. I'm not sure how transparent this tax evasion / gratuitous alientation would be. Plus, you then have an 'asset' of a 200k loan balance outstanding which technically you could be persued for ie you could be forced to sell the loan if a court decides you have to make a payment.

In agreement with you on this. All smacks of desperation.

have to say reading through this post that OP contridicits himself, one question is does anyone know any good accountants then a later post is the family use a very good accountant.

Despite being told to take one step at a time, ie get the original business sale/take back sorted out OP still is trying to hide/move money and have charges over everything he gives away.

I have to assume novazombie you and Dell Boy Trotter have a lot in common, always going to be 'millionaires this time next year' with badly thought out schemes.

I wish you luck with whatever you do, but I have a dreadful feeling that you will financially ruin yourself and your family. Hope if works out good for you.

This is the funniest thing I have read in ages, and some people are being far too kind in their answers.

People have to take responsibility for their actions. I am more happy to pass comment but I never judge.

    Just want to update.

My father has borrowed the money off me and offer accepted on a great little cottage in Hampsted.

The cottage will be bought in my fathers name and I have a big charge on it. We want to rent it our straight away.

Hopefully get 350 per week for it.

He will pay me interest once per year.

Its very simple and not doing anything wrong.

    Nothing wrong with that.

Though doesn't avoid the fundamental issues if as you suggested the other party takes you to court.

Yes thanks I see what you are saying.

The charge I have is unofficial, no one knows about it.

We have an official declaration signed and witnessed that my father owes my the money and the arrangement for paying it back. But there is no paper trail.

In a few years time when this is all over we may get one done with a solicitor.

Unless you broke money laundering rules the money itself will have a trail.

Money doesnt always have a trail. And you dont have to break the law at all.

The Government and banks dont like people dealing with large amounts of cash, but its not against the law. Even though the banks tell you that you cant withdraw huge amounts you actually can, its your money after all.

It can be nerve racking handling 100s of thousands of pounds cash but the advantage is whatever you do with it can NOT leave a paper trail.

    Cash is King.
