You need to have an ADSL filter plugged into every socket where you have other equipment plugged in (eg telephone, Sky Box).0

Hi There,
I don't think that you would get a "No Dial Tone" error if your connection was set up for broadband as that would be a dial up error.
If you are using Internet Explorer the go to:- Tools/Internet Options/Connections, when connecting to broadband it should be set to "Never dial a connection".
This may give you a start but through my own experience there will be a few other setting that will need changing before you will be able to connect.
Hope this helps.I love my spell checker, it stops me making all sorts of stupid smelling mistakes. :doh:0 -
If the modem has not connected with the exchange you will get a no dial tone message, you should have two LEDs on your modem USB and ADSL, both the USB and ADSL LEDs should be lit continuously. If the ADSL light is flashing it indicates that the modem cannot connect. Check all your connections, you may just have a bad one somewhere.
This post would be better off in the Techie forum, more clever people there. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
