Cheap mobile phone insurance

I bought a phone a couple of months ago and was given a three month free insurance as part of the deal, which seems quite normal.
Normally it is £5-99 a month and my direct debit will start in about 4 weeks time.
Before I cancel it, I'm wondering if there are any good deals out there for mobile insurance. The phone id actually used by my wife and is only a cheapie phone, nothing really exciting.
In the past I've never had to make a claim and over ever had the insurance, provided initially witht he purchase.
This time, I'm just seeing if there are any good deals, before I cancel and leave it at that
