Hi,
wonder if anyone can help. Left my computer on the other day and my son (2 yrs old bless him  ) has pressed buttons on the keyboard and updated or done something. I believe he hit the install Live Update on Norton 360.
Anyway the problem is that since he's done this i'm having problems using a lot of the sites i'd used previously. Anytime i try to deposit cash into a site that uses the Verified By Visa it comes up with the Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Webpage. When ever i try to pay for items on Ebay using paypal it does the same once i click the confirm on the payment screen, whenever i try to log into my online banking on one site it won't let me in but on another it will? Finally on my betfair site it won't display my balance etc on the sign up page but will if i use www2.betfair - but never had a problem before.
Sorry, not a techie and yes, should've turned off the p.c. (is there a method of locking the keyboard?) but any help apprecited.

I dont think you can lock the keyboard but i could b wrong, you could unplug the keyboard if its easy to get to, did you pay for norton 360 or is it a trial version, id ditch norton and ie and use firefox with avira av and a free firewall,0

the easiest way to lock a computer while you are not using it is to press the windows key & L to lock the computer. it doesnt log you off, but it brings up the logon screen.0

What antivirus do you use?
Download Malwarebytes Press here to download
install, update, run a quick scan, remove everything it finds and post the contents of the log back here.
Hit the windows button+L and it will lock the computer make sure you have a password otherwise it can just be unlocked by clicking on your account.0 -
windows key + L = lock the keyboard

Also, who knows what else the computer may be hiding? Better safe than sorry.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

I would recommend anyone who uses windows to run Malwarebytes at least once a week.0
