I doubt his "brother" or "uncle" will be in Nigeria
Yes they have feed back of about 20 some of it on some pretty pricey stuff and some of it on tasteless tack with the union jack on it
item
Looking at their feedback they seem pretty genuine... but we will see when the money hits the paypal account

They are in Canada by the looks of it DESPITE me listing that I would only send it to Europe *sigh*
Oh well they will pay the cost of postage so I don't really care where it gets sent to and they have good feedback, but it won't be a cheap postage
(it's the XDA IIs with lots of bits and bobs) and it's gonna be sent international recorded and insured and they will have to pay for that
Cross your fingers peeps!!!
I must be hallucinating - from what I can see, the winner was bernadette and on her feedback page it says she's a United Kingdom member.

Yeah you would have thought so wouldn't you? But the address in the notice to me from ebay abour "the auction having finished and the winning bidder is and this is their postal address" is a canadian address... AND most of their purchases so far have been from US/Canada but not all.
British Columbia, Canada to be exact

I'd be very wary about that, then. Is the Canadian address verified?I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0

even more bizarre that it's the second XDA they've bought in the last 2 months, she must really like them0

I can't view the item (sodding NTL  playing up) but it sounds very suss to me.
The address wouldn't be verified would it? Have you requested their details via Ebay? If the address on there is Canadian then they wouldn't be able to open uk ebay account. False info on Ebay warrants the account to be suspended.Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.0 -
Well she has paid and by Paypal. The address is verified by paypal and I'll be sending it recorded and insured to high heaven :rotfl: so it should get to the right person.
It will be sent first thing tomorrow morning so hopefully all goes well and she doesn't try to pull a fast one etc
Wish me luck guys

I advise you NOT TO SEND IT for a few days - as an experienced Ebay seller this course of action won't harm your reputation as a Canadian buyer won't expect overnight shipping.
By the way, this may have limited use in Canada due to differing mobile network standards
The address might be verified but the credit card might be stolen - paypal will debit it from your account once the real owner (or the cc company) realises its being used for fraud. In addition, the ebay account might have been hijacked.
In addition, if Paypal suspects that fraudulent money has been paid into your account they will debit from your account and give you the runaround0
