Oh no, I have been soooo bad today!

I did do a bank shift at work but then I made the mistake of meeting hubbie in town and going into the Cath Kidson shop...In my defence I did buy one of the cheapest things in the shop - a make-up bag - but I didn't need it but it is gorgeous! Also then went on to buy a lovely picnic hamper - defence - it was £25 instead of £40 and I figured if we take picnics everthwere rather than buying food it will pay for itself...hmmm think I'm clutching at straws now...I will make up for it with 4 NSDs in the next week I promise!!!

    Am I forgiven???

    I really do need to:
    • clear the bathroom
    • ironing
    • washing hokey kokey
    • search for a new laptop - I missed a brilliant deal but desperately need one. Mine is dying :o.
    • check bank accounts
    • update spending diary
    • update spreadsheets

Well my friend cancelled so OH and I went to buy a computer. I'm nearly £400 more in debt now!! This means that I really must find more ways of making money. I have no further excuses.

Better get on with the other tasks!

On a nicer front - I've spent all weekend with oH which has been lovely. He usually works shifts so it is really hard for us to see each other at weekends so a whole bank holiday is bliss!

    See you all soon.

Ok, I have had a glass of wine with my supper so I shall retire from my DFW list as of now. Hokey Cokey can continue tomorrow (five loads done, two to go ) and the rest can wait as well. Oooh, and got another message through the dating site I signed up with some time ago.

Need to be very careful opening Darwin he's a bit full. These supermarkets are a bit sneaky with their pricing ESP with bulk stuff.

Under budget but not sure how much by yet :)
I found my crepe pan !!!!!!!!!! Finally at oh so that's something and sil is considering mrs mopping for him which is a great result.

Hugs kisses all round xxxxx off to convince a nice ferry person that hot water for lemsips is obviously free x

Sympathies with the cat food, mine can be a pain. I give mine a pouch each in the morning and then complete dried food for the rest of the day. I did try to change to cans of cat meat but they just dont want to know! I took it back in the end, got my money back. Their faves are whiskas or felix, but they are just as happy with Asda (40 for £7.98) or tesco (24 for £4.49), as long as its pouches, not cans  and thankfully they arent too bad with the complete dried and will eat whatever is on offer.

Glad you got home safely fay, need to give Darwin a well earned rest now after lugging that lot home;)

I bought flowers today at the garden centre - thought of you at the time - this is unheard of for me as I like the things I grow to be edible - but I bought these just for enjoyment value. I also went and cadged more flowers from my mums garden, so today saw violets, crazy daisies, senetti, lavender, and aubretia added to my little plot.;)

HI Sm - hope the arm is better - glad you got yourself some enjoyment flowers - there are million studies about the benefits to health of adding flowers to your garden and daily routine - and they attract predatory insects for you to eat anything horrible.

I dot my veggies in my flowers and my flowers in my veggies - this random arrangement I find to be very thearaputic for me :)

Waves heartily at SM - just put a silly photo on my diary - you'd be so proud I have finally used stardrops !!
