Monday 13 April - what small DFW things have you done today?

Hello all!

Happy Birthday Pips Mum!! hope you have a lovely day!!

clocked up over 10 hours yesterday double time at work and will get the hours back in lieu!! wo hoo :j shattered today but will be happy when get the pay check at the end of May!

managed another NSD and found 5p by my chair when eating in the canteen.
today hoping for another NSD, as off to watch rugby, but its part of my season ticket.

will do the usual:
daily scratch
daily clicks
check online banking! not too happy as only £20 left to subsidise any going out trips to last me til the end of the month, so will have to be very careful.

Yesterday's lunch went well - so at least our folks get on!

OH and I are off to a really good friend's today so don't know what DFW things I'll manage.

I really do need to:

• clear the bathroom
• ironing
• washing hokey kokey
• search for a new laptop - I missed a brilliant deal but desperately need one. Mine is dying .
• check bank accounts
• update spending diary
• update spreadsheets

Good morning all And happy birthday to Pip's Mum :j Hope you have a brilliant day!

Today I have/will:

• done my daily clicks and free scratchcard (10p and 10p)
• filled out a job application form
• done some more work on my mini-thesis (home stretch baby! Just need to draw a few molecules and I'm done!)
• take HM soup out of the freezer, and hopefully it should be OK to have for dinner
• help my Dad empty his coin jar and sort it into bags, etc. for taking to the bank tomorrow.

Angelflower - I can only echo what everyone else has said. I think you've taken the right approach to this, and it's wonderful that you're so close to your daughter that she can discuss these things with you. I hope it all works out xx

Good morning all!

Today I will

- do regular maintenance on the house so we avoid big bills later! (cleaning out gutters, touching up paintwork on window sills if it's sunny enough)
- make supper out of half the remains of the roast chicken we had yesterday
- make a nettle and spinach soup with leaves from the garden and the chicken stock

If that gets done quicker than I expect I'll also
- check online banking...

Well, the sun has come out and the headache is on the way out (after another hour in bed and tea & toast in bed made by lovely DD :A)

Even DH is almost up - pretty amazing for his day off! :rotfl:

Cleaned cooker & tidied up kitchen, did huge amounts of housework over last 2 days so none left at the moment. Not even the ironing - all done! Yay! :j

Fay - have a safe journey back home!

Sophiesmum - no probs, let me know if you ever stuck again, am (sadly) always up early thanks to younger DD!)

• Check online banking
• Pay for item I won from Ebay yesterday
• Ebay at least 5 items
• Check onepoll for any surveys
• Learn how to do scratchcards
• Take dinner to work
• Apply for next years college course
• Start looking for a new job
• Enter some competitions on the competition board
• Find the cheapest way to get wristbands for 5 adults for Blackpool Pleasure Beach in May, anyone any ideas?
• Not spend anymore money than detailed above

- Sort out paperwork cluttering up my kitchen table
- Wash & dry all dishes by hand
- Washload on at 30
- Put up washing line so we can dry outside :T
- Start to investigate turning outside weed patch into a veggie plot :T :j :T
- s-t-r-e-t-ch last night's roast chicken into at least one more meal
- get some ironing done :eek:
- sparkle a lot

I am feeling better today. After giving DD a good snack box this morning she let me have a nice lie in.

So today I have/will:

- Scratchies
- Curly
- Cashback bingo
- Some serious hokey cokey needed - sunny here
- Tidy kitchen - no room there to do anything at the mo
- Put bolognese sauce in SC for tea
- Take spare piggy cage back to the rescue as not to get tempted getting another resident in there
- Put wanted ad on freecycle for second piggy run
- Take DD to playground - free entertainment
- Online banking
- Update spreadsheets
- Pack sold book ready to be posted tomorrow
