I assume there's a way to reset it to the factory settings, how you tried that?
iPods are pretty good; I've been using them for years without any problems whatsoever. The iPod Touch is pretty unbeatable IMHO.0 -

Well that depends what mp4 you're talking about. That's one of the primary advantages of iPods; they have an absolutely huge selection of peripherals.
If the iPod Touch is a bit too rich for you, the Nano is great and is around £97.0 -

I don't think that's the case. You can import files from your hard drive, you don't need to buy them from iTunes.top_drawer wrote: »I would be restricted to only itunes etc.

You can play stolen files on iPods.
If you steal the music and films why not just steal the player as well?
Go for an old-fashioned five finger discount.

Itunes will read music off a hard drive - I've just burnt most of my CDs to MP3s on my PC and loaded it onto my nano.2025: 3xBluRay, £800, Book, CD

I just love it when oldies start banging on about "youngsters nowadays"
Maybe if they didnt inflate the prices quite so much then I would be willing to just buy them.

Any advice regarding MP4 players?
Jen
As above, you can add music you have acquired from anywhere to your iTunes library. You don't have to buy it from the iTunes Store.
You really shouldn't be stealing music though. Digital downloads are far cheaper than CDs ever were, so I don't get how the prices are "inflated".
Apart from anything else, Limewire is absolutely stuffed full of nasty viruses, just waiting to infect your computer.0 -
