Headgasket - sell it quick.

big problems coming if there is gunk on the inside of the oil filler cap. its possible the head gasket has gone and coolant is getting into the engine.

Unless in ok nick otherwise. We had our head gasket skimmed in December at a cost of around £400. Ask a garage to check and give you a quote! Ours quoted about £550 but came in under. Depends on how long or when you intend to change your car. Ours is an estate, great for the dog, still in fairly good condition although the mileage is getting a bit high but didn't want to change it just yet! Its a year or two younger than yours!

Do you trust any local garages to look at it without ripping you off?

I took the car into my mechanic today and he checked it over and said its just condensation and theres nothing to worry about :j :T
