This one is also nice http://www.life-hotels.co.uk/nottinghamgateway/ and near Cinderhill tram stop, or 5 minutes outside of the city centre.
Lovely hotel but food is rubbish...beefeaters loads better plus they do offers on their menus, we go at least 4-5 times a months, also you can seen tram stop from premier lodge.0 -
I stopped in the Park Inn on Saturday night. It was a nice hotel. Rooms have Sony Bravia TV with freeview, excellent showers, ironing board (as if!), hair dryer.
The swimming pool closed due to a leak though.
There is a nice pub opposite also.
Thanks Bongedone. Just got back after 2 nights there rooms where a bit small and basic showers where fab.
Forgot our swimming gear so did not use the pool:o The pub opposite is the grosvenor it was a nice pub.0 -
hi - i live in Nottinghamshire (about 10 mile out) and theres some gorgeous B&B';s locally and transport into the city is really easy to find - theres buses and trains every half an hour - and we even have a light night bus service - they run until 3am to get you home from a hard nights clubbing
might be worth looking outside city centre - dont stay in St Anns tho! (no offence ppl!)

Then those who don't have a car or are sharing transport would end up paying extra. Surely the fairest way if parking is costly - as it often is in city centre locations - is to charge only those who want it, rather than everyone subsidising those with cars ?0
