o2 renewal date

I guess I will find out when I ring them but ask anyway here....

I had a 12month contract from 1st July 2007 with o2.

At end of May 2008 I upgraded (well got ripped off paid more for a naff phone).

Now got a letter from o2 last week to say I am eligible for upgrade. Looked at online account it said renewal date of 29th May 2009.

Does that renewal date mean its date the contract would effectively end if I terminate it or is the actual end date end of June 2009 (a month later) so making 24 months?

Just interested in knowing - as I say I will no doubt find out when I phone to cancel / leave.

you can upgrade a month before, so you can cancel on the 29th may but if you chose to upgrade you would do it on the 29th april
