    I've been Money Tipped!
I have had this bin for a few years now its the only bin I have ever managed to keep clean.

I just use the black sacks from Aldi with the tie handles.

I hope i dont start a stampede, but i picked one of these up in the local B & Q (st helens) about three weeks ago. I think it was the 40 or 45 litre for £20 reduced from £40.

The OH wasnt too happy at paying that much for a bin, but he has seen the light now at the prices on here. The mother in law wanted one but when we went back none left but i am not surprised at that price.

May be worth a checking on their website but it day say it was a clearence product.

    Good luck

Does this take the standard sized black bin liners (50 for £1 in Poundland), or do you have to pay through the nose for special sized Brabantia bin liners?
You can buy the expensive bin liners but the ones I get from Poundland etc seem to do the job as well.

Hi - Thought I'd update this thread with some info.

Looks like this bin is back down to £45 at Amazon.

Also, Robert Dyas have the 30 litre version reduced to £40.

    https://www.robertdyas.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10051&storeId=10001&productId=28031&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=16206

Please note that if you buy from them over the web, they charge £4 for delivery.

I think they have a promotion on at the moment where they have a £5 voucher in their special offers leaflet which is available in store.

I'm not 100% sure about this so you will need to check first.
