Received a mailshot from Amazon with this special offer. Seems to be at least £60 everywhere else. These bins are the best you can get.

we have one - it is the most fantastic piece of kit and i love it, very stylish and practical with the touch top (can be opened with an elbow if your hands are dirty)... BUT... in these days of recycling, it takes a very long time for us to fill a 50l bin up with rubbish. and as the non recyclable stuff tends to be mostly food waste (we don't have a composter and not allowed food waste in brown bin) it can get quite whiffy. it doesn't smell when it's closed, but when you open the lid sometimes... wheew!
if i could go back and buy it again, i'd get a 30 litre one. just a thought.0 -
I bought one these about 5 months ago from Costco. It cost £45 back then, but also came with a free 5 litre mini bin to match.Never buy a stupid dwarf -
Its not big and its not clever.0 -
Hmm I just bought it from Amazon for £69.99....0

Does this take the standard sized black bin liners (50 for £1 in Poundland), or do you have to pay through the nose for special sized Brabantia bin liners?Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.0

Does this work better than my £5 plastic bin ?
Maybe it walks the rubbish to my wheely bin! does seem an awful lot just for a bin0 -
BigAde- DOn't buy the Brabantia bin liners as they are VERY expensive! YOu can get the same 50l white bin liners on a roll from Asda for 1/4 of the price.(granted they are slightly thinner but still vstrong and have the drawcord tops! We have the Brabantia bin with the flatback and use these liners all the time.Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.
