Well I put a delay on the bathroom as DS informed me he was going to go out...
told him that, before he did, he needed to clear his floordrobe - well bless him he did - right into the laundry basket...the whole lot
So I have 'looked over' the stuff and two pairs of trousers (out of 4:confused:) are not at all dirty. They were creased though. They're not now! I have ironed them and they can go back into his wardrobe
    muhahahahahahaha

    To do
    bathroom
    kitchen
    prep for Friday errand...

Triker - this next half term is a short one - 5 weeks - with a bank holiday Monday...

Afternoon everyone :) Sorry I have been MIA I have one thing after another..lol. First the TvDrive box went kaput so I had to ring cable to come out to replace this. They are due sometime this afternoon. At the moment I have the TvDrive box from upstairs connected to the main t.v. The annoying thing is I have lost over 60 hours of recordings which I am NOT happy about..:( Oh well that will teach me to watch things relatively quickly!!

Also I have had a dead USB wireless adapter, so have been using DH's until a new one arrived. I ordered one from Amazon on Tuesday evening - didn't go for my usual Netgear one which was over £45.00, decided to go for a really obscure one for under £20.00. It arrived this morning and I have just connected it up..boy was it quick to correct. Although I did have to access the router to add the MAC number but that was harmless as I can do that from my laptop :) And boy am I impressed - I have got a better connection than I had with the super duper Netgear one.. It pays to read the reviews on Amazon for things you are buying I have decided :)

I've also not had a chance to do any housework until today as I have been back and forwards to "toxic friend" sorting out getting her a laptop and generally having broad shoulders so she can talk/sob/whinge about her divorce/split up etc. This is going to sound really horrible but I am so glad she is moving to Bristol (3 and half hours drive away from me) at the end of this month. At least she won't want me to visit her so much..ooh does that sound terrible, it isn't meant to be honest!!

And then yesterday I lost track of the day as I slept most of it away - I think I needed it somehow. Still at least the painkillers are keeping the pain of the "grapes of wrath" away at the moment :)

Oooh regarding the 25th April flymeet - DH came home last night and said did we realise it was Marathon weekend? The whole of the area that has been suggested is going to be absolutely congested with tourists/police and even athletes. Plus they are putting barriers etc up for Sunday. He said if we didn't have to do maybe we should change it for another day!!

*Hugs* to everyone, sorry I have missed news etc.. Happy Birthday to anyone I have missed this week too.. I hope you all had a good one and got totally spoilt :)

    And now onto flying :)
