Well I'm back from the gym, all showered and hopefully a little lighter. I only managed 5.22km today, but I have done it 3 days in a row now, so probably overdone it a little bit. Also the gym closes at 7pm on a Sunday and the last admittance is at 6pm, and I got there at 5.45, so didn't have an awful lot of time to do my workout and then shower and dry my hair (which takes ages as it's long and thick). So, adding it all up:

    5.82+5.78+5.44+5.22=22.26km in total this week.

So, that means there is only another 19.74km to go so I'm over half way there. :T

At the moment I haven't been booked in advance for any supply work this week, so will be playing it by ear in terms of when I'll be about, and didn't want to risk not doing any of my marathon challenge in case I'm too tired this week (only have until the end of April to complete it).

Got home, and OH has done one thing off his list, so I suppose that's a quarter of his list done.

We had our main meal at lunch today so only having soup and a roll tonight for dinner as it'll be late when OH gets home.

I'd better go and do some washing up, cos the sides are covered, and there won't be enough bowels etc for the soup.

I find I can never send in my plans for someone else to teach. Generally the person covering is not an English teacher and so can't deliver the content. Therefore the work set needs to be something the pupils can get on with on their own.
Unfortunately some in my dept don't send in any work and thus I have to rush around like a blue a**ed fly setting work at least 3 days out of 5. The joys of teaching!!!!!

Oh i know its sounds funny....and it was really but the poor little thing was seriously distressed....as was I!

I was convinced that I had hurt it with the strimmer and couldnt look. Thankfully, it wasnt hurt, but was frozen rigid. Like i said, mum managed to get it on the trowel, but it was squeaking - I have never heard anything like that from a frog before.

It was obviously so distressed - if frogs cry/squeal - that must be how they do it. It was such a shame. 'im just glad it was ok and hopped off home in the end.

Need some chocolate and wine to recover.

:hello: I've only managed to do all of Mondays tasks and a pile of ironing. Anyone else flying and working full time please that can give me some tips on how to keep on top of it all, I really want to get into a routine I can fit in.

Just back from taking the kids to Waitrose car park for an hour - I sure do know how to show them a good time.

I'm cold now so going to have a cuppa. OH is running DS3 bath and the other two have been sent to get their stuff ready for school return tomorrow.

The big question is shall I do some ironing or hand sewing. Decisions, decisions.

It is amazing how much noise a frog can make. I unfortunately witnessed a cat with a frog (didn't end too well for the frog )and it literally screamed!:eek:
Think I need a glass of wine now to recover from the memory!party0036.gif

Questions - Do you go at a leisurely walking pace or is it more like a walking race? Can the walks be nice and flat (for those of us who are a little unfit :o? And can I ask why you have to do these certain distances on certain days? Ta :D
