    some do try
  • Well we are back from holiday (last night) and wow it was so nice (and a big change!) to walk back into a lovely clean and tidy house - it made all the hard work last work worthwhile. Still a long way to go but at least I'm on my way.

Decided not to do any cleaning as such today - being away last week has meant that there's a bit of dust but that's it so will start on the list tomorrow. Instead I have written a list of 10 things to do this weekend (and perhaps I may even do a little more if I'm feeling enthusiastic!)

Already done a couple of things (sorted out my suitcase, sorted washing with one load done and another on now) and a pile of shredding (from sorting out bills etc before I went away). I even sorted out my post as soon as I came in last night and dealt with it rather than put it in a pile to be done later.

Right, enough of my ramblings - off to declutter my bedside drawers...

    Morning everyone

Looks like we're going to have a cracking day here. Sun and blue skies already. DS's stinky fishy clothes are already in the washing machine. I'm going to spend as much time in the garden as I can today I think

    Morning lovelies!

It's not sunny here but it's a bit warmer, it was like winter yesterday. Going to see GD and possibly a home bargains mooch then to drop DD1 off at work, but I'm gonna potter in a sec, kitchen def needs doing.

Anybody else watch The Notebook last night *sniff* how sad was that. BGT was excellent too.

The outhouse still needs cleaning up and then painting, will see what the weather's like later on don't want to do it if it's cold or damp.

    listy:
    load DW
    S&S kitchen
    rubbish in bin outside
    tidy living room
    make beds
    WM?
Final check on uniform and school stuff for tomorrow
    HHI?
put reusable bags back in car
put booster seat back in car
    visit GD
    HB mooch?
    DD1 drop off
    sort tea
    possible outhouse clean-up.

    Off to the kitchen.....

    Tia take it easy x

Morning all, Not doing much flying today. Its DS2 birthday today, so going to spend the day playing with him and spoiling him. I do need to fit in several million loads of washing tho, none of us have any clean clothes OMG I am sooooo behind on that!!

Going to nip along to Morrisons later and get a few bits for a little party tea for just the 4 of us! And a birthday cake of some sort!!! I was going to bake him one, but I have been working all weekend and havent had time. Oh well, my cake making ability isnt that good anyway hehe!!

    I'll be lurking.......

    Morning everyone:hello:
Cor it's flippin cold here this morning. I thought today was supposed to be wall to wall sunshine here. It seems that soappie has it all atm.

I have quite a busy day ahead of me. Got someone coming round this afternoon to help break up the car. We should get somewhere in the region of £300 - £400 in total for all the bits maybe more. So I shall be David Bailey ing and Ebaying later.

Mr Tag wants me to get rid of mine as well. Even though it is falling to bits I do lubs my little car. But it does make sense to lump them both in together and go and get one half decent one I suppose.

hex - I'll do another challenge with you. I'll go for 100 this week and will start today.
    Tag, what’s a camel bite?

Ah now. I find that this never fails. Mwahahaha!
You know the fleshy bit on the inside of your thigh. A camel bite is a quick pinch of it. Believe me it's flippin painful. So much so that I only threaten Mr Tag with it and he squeals like a girl:rotfl:It gets him out of bed quick as a flash:rotfl:

I think I might post a list of my normal dailies today seeing as I've done the list's. Just the filing to sort out but I doubt that'll get done today.

    See you in a bit.

Bright and trying to be sunny but with a cold wind. One load of washing out though.

I've cleared up downstairs, peeled potatoes and carrots for dinner, taken the dog out, done lots of washing up.

DD1 is coming for lunch today.

When the GP is finished I plan to vacuum through downstairs. I don't watch it but it would be mean to vacuum in front of DH!

Off to catch up on the thread, hope everyone's OK.
