Sky hd box £29 - confused

Its a bit of a minefield this! Once I turned the multiroom off about a month back the sky box upstairs which used to have access to the entire package, I expected to just not work. it still does allowing me to watch a smaller range of basic channels (freesat???)

so I assume if I have HD box without HD package / multiroom, I would still be able to use it for the basic channels and record on to the hard drive - appreciiating I wont be able to access HD specific channels....

I somehow think that Sky will not give you a new receiver or even a highly subsidised one without stitching you in to a one year contract, Sky are good at taking money, not giving it away.

To get the offer you MUST keep the HD Mix for 12 months.

Even if you were to some how get a HD box and cancel (which you can't) the recording functions do not work without a Sky subscription package or £10 p/m fee (in this case multiroom being the best option at £10 p/m)

Do you want an HD box without Multi Room? Sky will do it at £49 for the box and £60 install whcih is a fantastic deal imo.

Hiya.

When we took our Sky+HD out I asked about this offer. It is only available in Multi Room for £29.

Was hacked off as the poster states £29 but thats if you only take out the Multi Room, its in the tiny so called small print on the posters.

We paid £49 for the Sky+HD and then a furthur £30 for installion (we are existing sky customers aswell, just upgraded from sky normal to sky+hd).
