Iv'e just applied for the duo credit card from my bank (lloydstsb) online and got the answer that they will contact me in the next 4 working days? my credit file is fairly good with only 1 loan outstanding of £190 and several settled loans and 1 other card settled within the last 12 months. i'm guessing i will be turned down!. is this normal for lloyds not to give a answer straight away:confused:.

When you log into online banking are they offering you a card in the special offers section just underneath your account balances page?

Maybe it's gone to underwriting for decision. If you get declined, a good appeal letter is here - feel free to use it: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1612333

Remember sometimes depending on what time you apply the system cannot give you an instant descion because it may not be able to get the infor off of the CRA's.

Your CF seems attractive and I assume that if you have no late payments and are on the electroal roll if they decline you, you have a good chance of appeal.

Best of luck and remember to update us with their descion and the limit they give you ;)

Sorry its not special offers but My offers.

On balances page you get 1 list of accounts with balances 2 underneath that My personalised loan offer then 3 My offers on my page it has credit card, Text alerts and car insurance.
Sometimes you need to click on the + or - to see or hide these offers depending on how your page is set up.

I don't have anything else on my list of accounts page and i'm assuming it's because iv'e only got a classic account now along with a online saver. i'll just have to wait for the sorry you don't qualify for a credit card letter.

  • They did that with my application and did offer me a card.

I was disapointed with the £750 limit, considering I've previously had a card with them with a £9,500 limit and my situation is at least as good now, but they did at least offer me a card (which I took and transfered a small balance to).
