Puerto Pollensa, Majorca. Beautiful, very few chavs. mountains give a lovely backdrop. Fantastic food, all English speaking.

Although as a place to go, Anywhere on Majorca (except Palma Nova/Magaluf) would probably be perfect for you. If you don't want a hire car, then book through a main tour operator, however if you get a car the island has everything, from beautiful mountain roads with lakes and monastries to waterparks for the kids. You can get from one side to the other in an hour (and a bit).

Poland, without a doubt. If you want the beach, head for Gdansk/Sopot in the north; if you prefer countryside go for the southern parts.

Wizzair and Ryanair have excellent fares. There'll be no problem with people not understanding you (I was there last year and it seems everyone now speaks English!), but as with anywhere you'll get so much more out of it if you make an effort to learn at least a bit of the language before you go.

I agree that Puerto Pollensa is a lovely place for a relaxing family holiday, one of the most picturesque bays on the Med, brill restaurants (cheap menu del dias!).
You can still get plenty of cheap flights there. Ryanair specials on some dates, best accomodation through Alpharooms (Quidco!), or booking an apartment direct with Owners Direct.
Once been and you'll definately want to get back again and again!
    Enjoy!!
