last 300 posts facility.

i was very vociferous when you moved from the old software onto the new vbulletin system as on the old one i used to use the "last 500? posts facility ... which i would just come on a couple of times a day .... go to that click...it would list them just one after the other as one very long page and the real benefit was that i could save them onto my c drive and read them at my leisure.

all credit to the mse tech guys at the time , they were under pressure for weeks after the move but you did manage to at least provide the "last 300 posts" which we have now.

Martin very politely said words to the effect ." done a miracle here... be grateful for now.. best we can do...we will revisit one day" .

I've left it a good year so here goes now !!!

first priority.. ... need more than "last 300" .... due to the massive growth of the chat forum ... i've signed on now at 9.56 and the 300th ago was only at 9.22 ... only 34 minutes previously. !!! ... so i only get to see a tiny window of time.

second priority .... really need the download facility .. to be able to read at leisure.

third priority... instead of i think 25 on a page so have to click through 12 pages ... one long list would be brill.

Hopeful that something can be done ..

don't know how everyone else uses the chat forum , think this is the best way by far because you can whizz through all the posts and topics and just stop to read the ones of interest.
