Internet Pages are so slow loading

I am currently on Orange as my ISP.
I have a download speed of 3.2Mbps and yet the pages are so slow to load.
I am using Wireless and have recently upgraded to 2Gb of RAM.

Can anyone suggest why it so slow if the download speed is decent? It takes approx 30 secs per page.

Either infected or some programs not working as it should or your connections not as it should be

go HERE and tell us what the upload and download speeds are

    then ~

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')
    http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
    UPDATE and FULL SCAN
Post the log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

    reboot

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click DO A SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE (Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)

What browser are you using? If IE7, worth trying with Firefox to eliminate browser problems. FF is a better browser anyway.
    Nothing wrong with your speeds.
What antivirus and anti-spyware are you running?

    macman,
Use IE and want to stay with it as I am not really computer literate and want to stay with what I know if I can.
Run AVG (daily) and spybots (weekly)

AVG is awful (And let all those through that Malwarebytes has found)

And whatever av you use you do NOT need to scan daily (Thats just extra wear on the hard drive thats not needed)

Spybot ~ make sure you use its IMMUNISE feature too

It's up to you (though FF is no different to use, and faster to load). But it's AVG that's your problem, not IE.
When you have cleaned your system you can install something better, like Avira.
