I received chocolate boxes yesterday evening- 9 instead of 10. Obviously, they charged me almost £47 (as I expected from the above posts). I put them in a carrier bag yesterday ready to take to Tesco today- I was inclined to ask them to honour the initial price. This morning I took one of the boxes out to read whats on it and discovered that its open (unsealed from the sides). Well, I opened it- one chocolate truffle was missing ! Anyway, I was glad, it WAS open - that made me have a look and change my mind. This chocolate I didn't want even for 1p.- sounds nice, but looks horrible. So I took them all back a couple of hours ago- no problems at all, they refunded full cost, including delivery since it was the only item that I ordered. Great, very happy now! :-)I love this forum and thank everybody who contributes to it!0

Pedantic = BFG
To be pedantic, I'm not sure that pointing out 3 'errors' in a posting of only 10 words is being pedantic.
Similarly telling someone their signature has typos in it [and as such their 'poor spelling' is visible on every post they make] isn't [IMO] being pedantic, it's trying to help them come across better.0 -

If you were trying to help, perhaps you should have PM'd them, rather than trying to embarrass them on here in order to get a cheap laugh for yourself. These posts are often typed quickly and the intention is to get a point across and not to be perfect English. Also for a number of people on here English is not their first language. Please be careful with your comments as they can cause offence.
Rant over, came on here to say that boxes were delivered last night and after a quick call, refund was promised. By the way, chocs are lovely.:EasterBun“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”:D0
