I love a bargain but I would hate to take advantage of something like this on a completely non-essential item and see a charity lose out.

1p + £1 donation. 0 -
Listed as £4.88 on Tesco Groceries for me now. Be interested to know what they're charging for them, now, when others have them delivered...0

scaned at £4.88 for me today at tesco but they were also lots on reduced section for 98p to £1.49 (best before date april 09) so i got one for 98p0

I ordered 10 but only had 7 delivered. They were priced at £4.88 on the paperwork, but I rang up to see if I could have them at 1p as this was the price shown on the website. I said, I had heard that Tesco honour any price errors.... the customer services rep spoke to their manager and honoured the deal. So 7p for £35 worth of choccies! The best before end date is June and July 20090

Hi sec79 - did the driver wait whilst you called them up? I had my delivery at 5pm and I had to send them back as came up at £4.88. I kept my other shopping.
The driver phoned CS for ask about the prices but they said it was a computer error and as they are guide prices it can be changed at any time and it says this in the terms and conditions - I couldn't be bothered with the hassle today! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi, yes the driver waited. First I was told I'd need to send in the screen shot I took of the 1p price when ordering via email and if they wouldn't honour the price I could take them into the store for a refund so I did that.
Then the driver left and I phoned up again as I realised I'd only been left 7 and the paperwork said 9. I explained then that I'd only ordered them as they were 1p, and would they be able to honour that price, he spoke to his team leader came back and said. I find the nicer you are, the more likely they are to say yes!0 -
Just had my delivery. They were shown as out of stock on the paperwork, so no charge but all 10 boxes were delivered in my shopping!0
