Just had my delivery. They were shown as out of stock on the paperwork, so no charge but all 10 boxes were delivered in my shopping!
You lucky thing!! All this talk of chocolate, I will have to go and get my Cadburys egg!!ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷0 -
Chocs were out of stock and didn't come with my order, and Tescos still charged me full delivery for the other couple of bits I ordered. Customer Services were extremely unhelpful when I phoned, and refused to even refund any of the delivery charge.0

Hi, my delivery of 10 boxes is due tomorrow evening, should i accept it if it arrives at the higher price and try to get money back or should I reject it. Some help on the legal side of it would be great. Cheers“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”:D0

Coupon Girl - more than the issue of legal rights, I suspect the problem may be in dealing with Tesco callcentre (I presume you'd want to avoid having to take court action over chocolate). I'd be inclined to cancel - I wish I'd just cancelled *my* order now.
The last time I ordered anything from Tesco online was almost a year ago - they messed up there, as well, but I figured Tesco might do better this time. More fool me - that's 2/2 orders they've bodged

How much of a hassle is it to return them to a store for a refund if they dont come for 1p and you have phoned CS and cant get a discount?0 -
Thanks bitsandpices and clare21 for your response. I think taking court action may be a bit drastic:rotfl:. I was wondering what rights I had really and if accepting it at the door meant in some way that I was accepting the price, not sure about offer and acceptance with regards to internet shopping.
Even though the Tesco website does state 'guide price', it explains the guide price as one that hasn't had discounts applied yet. I cannot find any info about overcharging.
It wouldn't be problem to take to the store to get refunded but then I would probably still be liable for the delivery charge and as the chocs are the only thing I have ordered, then that would be a bit of a bummer.“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”:D0 -
