Hi,

I've added this to the list of possible phones for "discussing" with retentions tomorrow. Can anyone supply me with some info re the GPS? Specifically:

1. Do 5800s on Orange come with Nokia Maps or Orange Maps?
2. Do you need to sign up for a subscription service or is it data costs only?

Thanks,

Thanks but the info re Orange maps wasn't there (they don't mention its on the Tocco Ultra but apparently it is). Anyway I checked with Orange Retentions and it's Nokia Maps installed so data charges only.

Got a nice free Nokia 5800 handset coming, a fiver off my bill every month and a nice increase in minutes/txts/data so I'm happy.

With most Nokia phones you only get three months of voice guidance for Maps, there is a monthly fee after that. You can still access all the maps functionality though.

Not too worried about the voice guidance - it was more I didn't want to be locked into Orange Maps which seems a poorer substitute.
