I have no loyalty to anyone but in the last few years have become somewhat a consistent customer to Tesco. I'm talking pet insurance, car insurance, house insurance, credit card and shopping. My enthusiasm for this company has waned of late. As always I'll price compare for like for like products on the financial sector front and whoever is cheaper will always win out.

However, on the grocery front I am so bored of Tesco. I've been drifting over to Sainsburys for the last few months and have seen no real difference in my grocery basket costs but seem to obtain better quality and choice at Sainsburys. I did my weekly shop at Tesco last Saturday and I was cursing all the way round. Some excellent offers but no stock available so I could actually purchase them! Couldn't get round the store for metal trolleys. Bare shelves just everywhere, it was quite ridiculous and I ended up buying loads of branded products due to this.

I've frankly had it with Tesco, and the points aren't the pull they used to be especially as I get points for using my credit card anywhere. Despite the extra mileage I'm off to sainsburys from now on and stuff Tesco for ripping me of with inflated prices, badly stocked stores and low quality food.

I don't have loyalty to any supermarket and I don't feel that points would make me stay with one in particular.

On the few occasions that I've been in a Tesco store this year, I've been shocked at the prices of ordinary food stuff.

My mum always buys Pura Soya spread instaed of marg and over the last year its been anything betwen 99p and £1.12 in Tesco's. Went in this morning and It's £2.10! No mistake as its exactly the same price on the website. Me thinks next week it'l back to its original price with a special offer yellow label!
My town has a Tesco and Netto in the centre but unfortunatley the Netto is closed til the summer as it is being demolished and rebuilt (bigger and better apparently). Asda is 6 miles away and Morrisons about 3 miles away. You are looking at nearer 10 miles for the Aldi and Lidl so at the moment Tesco have a captive audience of those who don't have transport.
