Made a decision to boycott Tesco at Christmas and hardly get anything there now, except the odd emergency, as they're my nearest. Don't care about points. Have always preferred Sainsbury's food, just needed to make a bit more effort to get there. Many aspects of Tesco that I am unhappy with. Don't let them manipulate you with points.

I have clubcard discount vouchers I havent used, thats how much I cant bear it!

Popped in the other day for some frozen pastry, it was 20p more than when I buy it in waitrose

    totally out of hand.

Im very concerned about this "massive" tesco expansion that seems to be allover the press, Imworried that this means our choice even more diminished - ie where are they going to buy?? and we are all going to be ripped off forever!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Well I did it.

    This week's shop done at...

    ...Sainsbury!

Stuck to their 1/2 price deals and their Basic range.

Must say I am impressed with the quality and bags to bucks ratio.

I had meatballs, sauce, spag and garlic bread for my tea last nite and very nice it was too!

Yay! :j Another Sainsbug convert! IME, in the main, Saindbug's Basics range is very very good. Love the traffic light labelling system on it as well. Very easy to see what you are getting (many of the Basics products have less sugar/salt/fat than their brand name equivalents as well).
    Call me Carmine....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

I've always found Sainsburys more expensive TBH, perhaps I'll have to give them a look..

  • Think i have posted this on another thread before, but i haven't shopped in Tesco since xmas. Cannot believe how expensive they have got. I have know idea how they have made so much profit!!! I have gone back to Sainsburys as i find their value range and offers alot cheaper. Infact i never thought i would say this but Sainsburys are alot better value IMO.
