Hello,
I confess my utter ignorance about using mobile phones abroad, because I have never done so. I am on pay as you go, with T Mobile. Please can anyone help me by outlining the cheapest option for me when I travel to Greece in May.

Do you need it for emergency use, regular calls and/or texts to the UK, regular calls to Greek numbers, data/3G?

Are you on a contract (with inclusive calls or texts), and how long are you away?
  • No I am on pay as you go. I will only need the mobile phone for emergencies to contact the UK while I am there, and so that anyone in England can call me if there is an emergency in England while I am away.
