Newbie wanting to become Debt Free

    Well not updated here in a while. Had a few problems recently,parents split up,Im now single again:(. So life has been abit crappy.

    I'm off to France next week for fishing for a week so hope that is going to lift my spirit abit. Been feeling abit down about my money issues again.

    I did sell a few things on the bay,paid off some of my cc debt.

    Car,loans I have just been making my monthly payments.

    Life is dull at the moment:(

    Debt at LMB April 2009= £14,980
    Debt free Sometime in November 2013
    £69k left of 90k Mortgage - Overpaying by £270 a month
    Current Savings = £13000
    MSE turned my life around years ago

    Keep on it! Life is so much better when your DF, this has been on my first DF year (Im 23 myself) and Ive been able to do so much I wanted (been on 3 holidays :eek: but am still DF;)).

    Why dont you make a spreadsheet you can record your payments or even a sheet you can colour in squares for each £50 off your debt?
    Aim - BUYING A HOUSE :eek: by November 2013!

    Thanks got the advice odette. My cc seems to be my biggest worry/hate. Just having that debt looming over me with the massive interest. My credit rating is poor to shift it too:(.
