I certainly wish I'd learnt your lessons when I was younger and no kids etc.

    Good luck with it all.

Yeah if only I knew then what I know now - I'd do things so differently!!! Better to get it sorted as soon as you can so you can really start to live the life you want.
  • Hindsight is a great thing, but you live and learn I suppose :)

  • morning all,
first thanks to the support i have been recieving on here, its much appreciated, and makes me feel like were not alone in getting rid of our debts.

seems i was wrong about my AA loan too, i actualy put more money on to my debt than i actualy owe.

my first post has been updated with the exact figures.

i cannot say how happier i feel for now dealing with my debts and also now knowing that i dont have as long to go as i first thought:)

    Hi Ryan,

Just came across your thread. I wish you all the best...there are some very smart people on here (me being the exception!!) so from what I've gathered so far, if you ask a question someone should have the answer! x

P.s nip over to the 'payment a day' thread...it's all about making tiny wee payments to your debts everyday which could come in handy with your cc. It's great fun on there!

  • Good work Ryan - the key is to stay motivated throughout your debt free journey. I think it's useful to strike the balance between money saving and still living an enjoyable life. Remember Rome wasn't built in a day.

You seem to be very focused which is great. You'll reach your debt free goal soon enough...
