CL75 Poppy - unlocking

Hi,

Does anybody know if it is possible to unlock the Siemens CL75 Poppy phone by an unlock code?

My daughter really wants one but the cheapest deals are Orange or Virgin. Lately ebay has had a few listings for remote unlocking by code but I understood this phone was cable/direct unlocking only.

I know Virgin and Vodaphone can supply code at a cost but the current listings are showing all networks available.

Anybody any news, has anybody tried these services, can anybody supply a code?

the cl75 can be unlocked by remote code from the JAF server or by cable with infinity box, either code 12 for o2 or 32 and 12 for virgin.

Just incase it is of interest to you... I noticed that e2save and CPW are doing the Orange's 1000 off peak mins @£20 pm and fully repayed by cashback. If you don't trust her to keep within the mins or afford the extra you could just keep the sim yourself or put in a safe place. The quidco, or similar, cashback would put you in credit by the time the year is up!

Have you tried any otrher Sims?

We had a Poppy on Orange last month, and when we tested Virgin, O2, Vodafone Sims - they all worked.

You never know, it may be factory unlocked!
