Nearly an iPhone!!

My 15 year old son's phone is broken and he's going to replace it, he desperately wants an iPhone but obviously due to the contract he can't get one!!

Does anyone know of a touchscreen phone that is as close to an iPhone as possible?

In my opinion the iphone is too nickable for a 15 year old. My daughter got the samsung tocca and I had to tell her to be careful where she used it.

I have had a Sony Ericcson P1i for 1.5 yrs now and I would recommend it. 3MP camera, SD card, touch screen. I am not sure how much they are now but can't be too expensive !
