Don`t let them get to you Miche, there a lot of nasty people in this world but there are also a lot of nice ones, present company included and a lot of the nice ones post on here. I have had someone have a couple of digs at me but like you I reported it and hey presto the threads were removed. Makes a bit of a mess of my posts as it looks like I am talking to myself where the offending threads have been removed, but there is no way I will stop posting on here because of hateful, small minded people.

When going BR you have to develop a thick skin.. but i feel we have been through enough and should be able to deal with a few trolls.. spam it.. report it.. laugh at it. At the end of the day they are only posting to get a reaction.

micheH -i'm sorry to hear you're getting upset by some nasties on here. i'm always on here at the moment (br next week) and have spotted quite a few unpleasant posts over the last week. it does make me feel sick when i read some of the spite - i can't even bring myself to get drawn into the argument (i hate it) but hats off to everyone who can jump in when needed. i'm also extremely sad a certain regular has dropped off the map last couple of days.
please remember so many people are grateful for your advice (i know i am) and that the nasties are seriously in the minority.
what the spiteful people forget (or don't care) is what a painful time this is for many and emotions are really raw.

If you are feeling low and vulnerable then re-read the posts - it may be that you are reading something into it that isn't there. I haven't read the post you are talking about but I do know that sometimes people take things the wrong way (not directing this at anyone in particular), some people write as they speak and they know what tone etc they are using but someone else might read it differently.

I just had a hot choc SSA, yum. I'm going to get some marshmallows for xmas for sure.. won't be able to roast them over an electric fire though, In my old house I put them through the gas flame to 'roast' last year :rotfl:

My DD used to roast marshmallows over candles....seemed to work....just a thought:D
