My exOH was Leeds OR & they were really nice. Even when I kept calling & calling with silly questions cos` I did`nt understand the effect on me... they were really reassuring & helpful.
Ditto i was with Leeds OR, and had no problem Ms Jones was very nice:), considering i answered 'i dont know' to most of her questions:o:p:rotfl:Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -

BAAB, did you file at the combined courts? If so, what was the process on the day - did you get to speak briefly to the OR before you left, as some courts do, or did they phone you later?
I'll let you all know if I get Ms Jones as well!BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500 -

Taking my son to the dentist later in the day to get his braces fixed! However I plan to treat myself to lunch out somewhere and have put some money aside for just that purpose!

I did not file in leeds, it was the nearest OR office, but i had a brief call with the OR on the day while at court, nothing to stress about, it was only to check i had nothing to deal with straight away, and to make sure i did not have living expenses etc in an account that may be frozen, and nothing was going into my account i may need for living expenses.
Nothing realy heavy at all:)Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -

I was hoping to speak to the OR before I left the court as it means I can window shop to my hearts content without worrying about taking a call from the OR while walking on Briggate!! I hate talking on the phone at the best of times so that would be very difficult.:oBR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500 -
You will be fine Late, believe me
I was in a terrible mess worrieting about it all....must be something to do with my theatrical background, little drama queen that i still am
However on the actual day it was just a formality, as in being there with one's petition & fee's.
I attended on my own (my choice) but I did go see a friend afterward for a cuppa & a chat (& then we visited her allotment which was fab) then came home & drank a great deal of wine, relief, relief, relief :j
Out of it all now I remember the funny moments...........I'd kept my BR money with a friend for safe-keeping. She had kept this in a cupboard in her house....she keeps her incense sticks there, so when I went down to the cashiers office to pay & produced my '£510 cash' out wafted the very strong & very pungent smell of Indian incense  Said Cashier had then to count all the money out, waft, waft, waft :rotfl: Sadly she was quite a strait-laced cashier........personally i was trying to hold it all together :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Afterwards (well after I'd had a supportive cuppa) I went to primark & bought myself some new knickers & socks....how sad is that that haha!
'tis good to laugh sometimes

If they dont speak to you at court, just turn your phone off till you get home (or ignore it) They wont think twice about it if they cant get hold of you, they will just try later.
