Just went and drew loads of money out today to attempt to clear my accounts before monday. Then went and spent £80 on children's shoes!! My 14 year old son has large and very wide feet and my 3 year old daughter's needed a couple of pairs - trainers for messing about and more girly shoes for wearing with dresses. Got a bargain with the trainers - £10 off as they were in a sale! Needed some new glasses for me as well, but got those fairly cheaply. All I can say is my extra Tax Credit payment has now nearly gone!

Did something nice as well - there was a toddler photographic competition going in the shopping centre. Don't normally enter these but it was in aid of the Make a Wish foundation so I did this time. My daughter's photo will be posted on the web and then folks can see it and vote for her (if they think she's the best).

Also had my revised TC payment form and they reckon they overpaid me by about £300 pounds last year so my TC has reduced by about £30 per week to pay it back. Not upset really as it just means about £120 less income for my OR to play with after Monday. Hopefully means an IPA is even less likely.

Right, enough waffle from me - where's my drink, SC and lemonade I think please bar person.

I've had a real chill-out day today - first time in months really :rolleyes: It suddenly dawned on me why..........no forms to check & check & check again.......its over! Still can't quite believe it really, surreal.
